Sodus (400x387)

This mural depicts the Sodus Hotel as it appeared in the late 1800s. It had a bandstand in front of it as well as a water trough for the many horse drawn vehicles of that age, especially the stagecoach that stopped here. The hotel still exists on Main street in Sodus. The water trough also still exists and can be found in the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Bette Bugni made this mural possible and her dog can be seen on the right side of the mural.
